1985	Apr.	Began research on copper-alumina substrates at the Hachioji Central Research Laboratory of DOWA MINING Co., Ltd. (Current DOWA HOLDINGS CO., LTD.)
	Oct.	Started shipping samples of DBC (direct bonded copper) alumina substrates.
1987	Mar.	Constructed a plant for mass production of DBC (direct bonded copper) alumina substrates at the Hachioji Central Research Laboratory.
	Apr.	Began research on AMB (active metal brazed) aluminum nitride substrates at the Hachioji Central Research Laboratory.
1992	Dec.	DOWA MINING Co., Ltd. Shiojiri Plant A completed in Nagano as a mass production factory for DBC (direct bonded copper) alumina substrates.
1993	Apr.	Began mass production of DBC (direct bonded copper) alumina substrates at the Shiojiri Plant.
1994	Oct.	Began research on ALMIC substrates at the Hachioji Central Research Laboratory.
1995	Sept.	Completed construction of Shiojiri Plant B for AMB (active metal brazed) aluminum nitride substrates.
1996	Feb.	Developed AMB (active metal brazed) aluminum nitride substrates with fillet for stress relief.
1997	Aug.	Moved the ALMIC manufacturing facilities from the Central Research Laboratory to the Shiojiri Plant.
	Sept.	Began mass production of ALMIC substrates.
2001	Oct.	Began mass production of thin DBC (direct bonded copper) alumina substrates.
2006	May	Reorganized to DOWA POWER DEVICE Co., Ltd. due to spin-off of DOWA MINING Co., Ltd.
2008	May	Completed construction of DOWA POWER DEVICE Plant C.
2011	Dec.	Started mass production of aluminum-metalized Integrated Substrates for new energy applications.
2012	Sept.	Expanded Plant B for increased production of AMB (active metal brazed) aluminum nitride substrates
2015	Nov.	Expanded testing building for aluminum-metalized Integrated Substrates for automotive applications.
2018	Apr.	Completed DOWA POWER DEVICE Plant D for increased capacity of aluminum-metalized Integrated Substrates.
	Nov.	Started processing of copper-silicon nitride substrates.
2022	Dec.	Celebrated the 30th anniversary of our establishment.
